BDO Seidman, LLP Spinning off E-Business Consulting Practice as WaveBend Solutions, LLC

The business now known as WaveBend Solutions, LLC grew revenues 51% in the most recent calendar year and continues aggressive expansion of successful e-business consulting practice.

Chicago, IL – May 8, 2000 – BDO Seidman, LLP announced today that it is spinning off its Business and Technology Solutions consulting practice into a separate legal entity, named WaveBend Solutions, LLC BDO Seidman originally formed this e-business consulting practice in 1995. The spin-off is expected to be completed by June 30, 2000.

WaveBend will have the autonomy and flexibility to more effectively respond to the fast-evolving demand for end-to-end e-business solutions. The new business structure will also enhance WaveBend's ability to attract top talent and gain access to new capital.
