FUTURELINK AND WAVEBEND SOLUTIONS LLC ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT TO DEVELOP A CO-MARKETING PROGRAM

WaveBend Solutions LLC, formerly the Business and Technology Solutions Practice of BDO Seidman LLP, offers Hosted Services to Clients

IRVINE, Calif., April 10, 2000 - FutureLink Corp. (Nasdaq: FTRL), one of the first application service providers (ASP), today announced the agreement with WaveBend Solutions LLC, a single-source company delivering dynamic and sustainable business and infrastructure e-solutions, to develop a co-marketing program. This arrangement will provide FutureLink with a new channel partner, and WaveBend with an opportunity to offer application hosting services to its clients.

FutureLink and WaveBend will work together to develop a joint marketing approach to small and midsize companies. Through this joint marketing approach, FutureLink and WaveBend will provide clients with an initial implementation of applications, supplemented with additional services in response to the client's needs. This approach allows clients to work with the same group of consultants and application service provider over time, while experiencing reduced ramp-up time and lower cost.

"We are pleased to be working with WaveBend to develop this program," said Phil Ladouceur, chief executive officer of FutureLink. "We can work with WaveBend on a complete implementation of both custom and office-product software hosted in one place, while providing dependable 24 x 7 access."

Through its data centers, FutureLink allows companies to outsource all computing service and support, and precisely manage the total cost of technology ownership. FutureLink customers subscribe to hosted application services on a per-seat basis, receiving Internet access to business-critical software and complete support services.

"We have always had long-term evolving relationships with our clients, and now we can offer them hosted applications, a cost-effective technology alternative," said Jeff Caldwell, a WaveBend regional consultant.
